A very successful night at Lodge of Benevolence 226

A very successful night at the Lodge of Benevolence No 226 was enjoyed by all.

We welcomed Bro Josh Demarest from Ontario, Canada who had requested visiting our lodge whilst staying with friends in Manchester.

Bro Demarest gave an interesting illustrated talk outlining his masonic career so far, and also the structure of Freemasonry in Canada. This was followed by our Worshipful Master, WBro Joe Galvin giving his usual outstanding explanation of the Second Degree Tracing Board.

The evening ended with the usual excellent Social Board, where the Worshipful Master presented Josh with a copy of the Lodge History for the First 200 years, written by the late WBro Brian Williams.

The photos were kindly taken by the Assistant Secretary, WBro Peter Shrigley, and show the Brethren of the Lodge with Josh, (with and without all the visitors), and 2 with the Worshipful Master and Josh together.”
